Springvale Lions weekend junior action – Friday night 17 October & Sunday 19 October:
Junior teams have been posted and this weekend sees two Friday night and four Sunday games.
Friday night:
The Friday night competition has moved to “centres” with all games being played at the one location. Its a great opportunity to witness a host of great young players from Springvale and the surrounding clubs.
Junior league games are being hosted by Cheltenham (Farm Rd Cheltenham) and our little big cats will be lining up against Cheltenham C.
Little league games this week are at Bonbeach (Thames Promenade Chelsea) and Springvale will be lining up against Sandringham.
Warmup at 5:00pm and game time at 6:00pm.
Sunday:
Sunday marks the introduction of our second under 18 team which will be coached by Ben Rosewall.
The under 18 Blue team will be at home this week against Doncaster.
Under 18 Red is also at home Sunday against Williamstown.
Under 16 are away at Melbourne (Surrey Park Elgar Rd Box Hill).
Finally Little League are away at Sandringham (Tulip St Sandringham)
Warmup at 8:00am and game time at 9:00am.
