In what was a huge weekend for the club, the Men’s Fifths took home the Division 4 South Flag in a big win over Cheltenham on the top ground. Led by Coach Stenny, the boys had a great season, ending in a convincing victory on Grand Final Day. Congratulations to all the boys on a fantastic season!
And on the bottom ground, the Firsts cemented their spot in this week’s Division Two Grand Final playoff against Williamstown with a massive win over Werribee. Bats were firing, the Big Cat boys putting together 29 hits on the day to register a mercy rule victory 26-6 in 7 innings. Richo doing a great job on the hill over 7.
The Firsts will now take on the Wolves in a three game series beginning Wednesday night at Altona, 7.30pm. Get out to the stadium and support the boys in their bid to become Division Two Champions for season 2013/2014.
