Following on from Rydge Hogan’s appearance on ESPN back in August as part of the Southern Mariners team that travelled to Bangor, Maine (USA), this weekend ESPN will feature two more of our own.
Club Women’s Coach, Junior League Coach and women’s player Shae Lillywhite will be donning the green and gold for the Emeralds at the 2016 Women’s Baseball World Cup in Korea, with ESPN announcing this morning that all three Round 1 games will be shown live Saturday, Sunday and Monday on ESPN AUS/NZ.
Club President, Little League Coach and women’s player Simone Wearne will also be involved as the Head Coach of the Emeralds.
The club wishes the girls and their team the best of luck at the World Cup and urges as many Big Cats here in Melbourne to stay tuned and follow the team’s progress on ESPN. For those without pay tv, there are also live streaming options via Youtube.
