In what has become a great annual club event, Saturday 1st October we will once again be holding our AFL Grand Final Day Working Bee. The working bee will kick off from 8am on the day, and run through until 1pm.
The club will be putting on a bbq for all who volunteer their time on the day and assist in preparing the ground and the clubrooms for the up-coming summer season.
We are calling on as many men’s or women’s players as possible to give up even just half an hour or an hour during the morning to help out. Many hands make light work….and there are many jobs to do.
So, if you can spare some time to help support the club and prepare our facilities for our first round of games, please come on down and be part of it.
Mick Wearne will be on hand to take fee payments also.
The Grand Final will be shown on the big screen from 2pm in the clubrooms.
