This Saturday, 13th February, the Big Cats will be hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising day. All profits from the day will go directly to the McGrath Foundation. The day will include the last regular season games for our Women’s Firsts and Seconds, at home versus Essendon.
Available on the day will be limited edition pink Big Cats hats for sale, a special Cake Stall, and other items that will be for sale, or raffled on the day. We are encouraging all club members to turn up at some stage, with the Women’s Seconds playing from 1.00pm and then the Women’s Firsts game at 3.30pm.
Throw in some gold and silver coins, and for those who can, some notes, so you can help as we do our best to support a great cause. Even if you can’t give up your Saturday, it would be great to see some people drop in for some period of time. With a predicted 30 degree day, it should be fantastic weather for baseball!
After the women’s games, we will be hanging around for some drinks and a casual social night to celebrate the end of the regular season.
