On Monday night, the club will not only play host to one of the most colourful MLB Managers the game has seen in Ozzie Guillen, we will also say goodbye to someone who has become part of the furniture at Springy. Freddy Flores has been a hit since day 1, committing himself to all parts of the Big Cats family, including the junior and women’s programs, the seniors and Masters. He also made a real impact with the Melbourne Aces. It has been a joy for players and supporters to have Freddy around the place all season, and it will be sad to see him leave.
He will depart prior to Presentation Night next week, so Monday night will be your last chance to say goodbye and thanks. Get down to the club and support Freddy as he leaves for the states on his next baseball journey.
